Additional Precautions

Health Care Acquired Infection

Infections acquired in health care settings.

Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC)

Part of quality and patient safety, IPAC is dedicated to reducing the spread of health care-related infections within our facilities across the region.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Items used by health care workers (and visitors) to help prevent the spread of infections (e.g. gloves, gowns, mask with visor, respirator).
